Representative Jerry Nadler, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 12th district, has taken to social media to express his concerns on recent developments affecting healthcare and historical remembrance. Nadler, who has been serving in Congress since 1992 after replacing Ted Weiss, continues to advocate for critical issues through various platforms.
On February 18, 2025, Nadler criticized former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk for their actions regarding the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP). In a tweet, he stated: "After blocking the bipartisan CR+, which would have kept the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) funded until 2040, Trump and Musk are once again threatening the healthcare of 9/11 survivors and first responders—this time by slashing 20% of WTCHP’s staff."

On February 19, Nadler reflected on a significant historical event concerning Japanese Americans during World War II. He tweeted: "On this day 82 years ago, the United States authorized the forced relocation and incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans. On this Day of Remembrance, we commit to never allowing this dark chapter of our nation’s history to repeat itself."
