Rep. Jerry Nadler, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 12th district, recently shared his views on several key political issues through a series of tweets. These posts highlight his stance on domestic policies and critique the actions of political opponents.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Nadler tweeted about the focus of House Democrats: "The @HouseDemocrats are focused on lowering the cost of living for American families, protecting access to health care, and creating jobs." He further expressed his desire for bipartisan cooperation by stating, "It would be great if House Republicans could take a break from trying to rename things and lend us a hand."

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Nadler addressed concerns regarding media freedom in light of actions taken by President Trump. He tweeted: "President Trump has declared war on the First Amendment, labeling critical journalists as 'enemies of the people' and using his FCC Chair, Brendan Carr, to launch selective attacks on media that dare to speak out." Nadler assured followers that "@HouseJudiciary Democrats are fighting back."

Later that day, he criticized proposed budget cuts by Republicans: "Republicans’ latest rip-off includes $880 billion or more in devastating cuts to Medicaid, taking healthcare away from the most vulnerable Americans in exchange for massive tax-breaks for billionaires and big corporations."
