The New York Republican State Committee has issued a statement in response to the Department of Justice's lawsuit involving Governor Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Leticia James. The statement criticizes their handling of what it describes as "criminal illegal migrants" on the streets.
The NYGOP declared, "There’s a new sheriff in town. Kathy Hochul and Leticia James’ days of turning over our streets to criminal illegal migrants are over." The statement emphasizes former President Trump's commitment to border security, stating, "President Trump ran on securing our border and he is delivering on that promise."
NYGOP Spokesman David Laska attributed these remarks to the committee.
