He emphasized their efforts to secure funding for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (MTA) Capital Plan amidst federal funding challenges, stating, "Yesterday, I led Members of New York’s Congressional Delegation in urging state leaders to fully fund the @MTA Capital Plan—especially as the Trump Administration threatens to block critical transit funding and jeopardize infrastructure projects across the state."
