EDA awards over $16 million in grants for economic development projects in New York state in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued 21 grants totaling $16,600,629 to fund economic development projects in New York.

This represents a 91% decrease from 2022, when the state received $184,276,724 in funding.

Still, New York state ranked fifth across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.
