Two days later, on April 6th, Nadler issued a statement condemning what he described as the "cruel and unjust" decision to revoke visas for South Sudanese families, calling for an immediate reversal of the policy. His call for humane treatment of these communities reflects ongoing concerns about immigrant rights and visa policies: "South Sudanese families living in our communities deserve stability—not collective punishment via sudden visa revocations. This decision is cruel and unjust, and I strongly condemn it. The administration must reverse course immediately."
