In Albany, the New York State Republican Party has launched a new webpage titled "Hochul’s House of Horrors" in response to Governor Kathy Hochul's 2025 State of the State address. This page aims to highlight what the party describes as harmful policies by Governor Hochul and the Democratic Party, which they claim have led to increased outmigration and negatively impacted New Yorkers.

The webpage is intended to serve as a resource for tracking decisions that the NYGOP believes contribute to New York's ongoing exodus crisis. It will feature information on issues such as rising living costs, high taxes, crime rates, spending, and an anti-business climate under Governor Hochul's administration.

NYGOP Chair Ed Cox stated, "Under Kathy Hochul and one-party Democratic rule, New York has become the poster child for bad governance." He further noted that people are leaving New York due to higher taxes, declining public safety, and a challenging business environment. According to Cox, "'Hochul’s House of Horrors' holds her accountable for every policy that pushes New Yorkers out."

As Governor Hochul prepares for her reelection campaign, the page will be regularly updated with what the NYGOP considers destructive policies from her administration. The page can be accessed at nygop.org/hhh.
