ALBANY – NYGOP Chair Ed Cox released the following following the murder of two law enforcement officers in Onondaga County last night:

In response to the tragic events, Ed Cox expressed, "We mourn the cold-blooded killing of two heroic law enforcement officers and pray for their families and loved ones."

Cox also expressed his concerns about the state of affairs, stating, “Our state continues to spiral out of control under one-party Democrat rule thanks to policies that privilege criminals over citizens. This issue is not specific to New York City: it is affecting communities all around the state."

In conclusion, Cox somberly remarked, "This is sad day for New York."
