NYGOP Chair Ed Cox expressed his concerns about New York's economic outlook, as the state has been reported to have the worst economic outlook for the 11th consecutive year. Taxes and regulations chase out businesses, pro-criminal policies chase out citizens and an illegal migrant crisis strains our resources."

Cox attributed the ongoing decline in New York to "Under one-party Democrat rule," emphasizing that the state's economic and social situation continues to deteriorate.
