New York State Police - New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team

242

No, these are not actors from the show “Breaking Bad”, but sworn members of the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) assisting the Cortland County Drug Task Force after an active meth lab was discovered in Cortland County.  CCSERT members are highly trained and experienced Hazardous Materials Technicians who specialize in documenting and disassembling clandestine drug laboratories which produce illicit drugs which contain a variety of flammable, volatile, and dangerous mix of household chemicals and resulting hazardous waste.  If you happen to locate or observe these illicit labs or related waste material pictured here, do not touch and call the police.
