The average VA home loan amount in New York during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023 was $318,350, a 7.4% increase over the previous quarter, according to the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
With $306,784 in issued loans, New York state ranked 25th for the average amount of a VA home loan in 2022, according to figures provided by the Veteran Affairs Home Loans Index.
Of the 20,114,745 citizens living in New York in 2021, 79% were old enough to vote, equating to 15,897,349 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.
