On March 5, 2025, Rep. Nadler questioned the response of Republican colleagues to a controversial remark made by a senior advisor to a Democratic President. He stated, "If a senior advisor to a Democratic President had made such an appalling remark, I would be demanding their resignation immediately. The question is: will my Republican colleagues do the same, or will they remain silent in the face of this blatant disrespect for our veterans?"

Later that day, he tweeted about his absence from an event using the hashtag #JointAddress. He succinctly stated, "No, I'm not going."

In another post on March 5, Rep. Nadler criticized a speech he found offensive and divisive. He remarked that it was intended to promote "a cult of personality" with an agenda that he described as racist and harmful to both American society and global safety.
