It seems that despite the bad press revolving around former President Donald Trump, Republican voters still prefer him or at least his style of leadership compared to other party leaders, at least according to one poll.
Rasmussen Reports conducted a survey and the results show that 73 percent of Republican voters wish that other party leaders would emulate Trump. The poll also revealed that 42 percent of those voters remain loyal to Trump despite his being impeached for a second time.
Rasmussen reported further that 28 percent of all Republican voters viewed Trump more favorably after the impeachment proceedings, while 29 percent went the other way.
Another surprising revelation about Republican voters’ loyalty to the former president comes from a CBS News poll. According to CBS, 70 percent of those voters are willing to leave their current political organization and move to Trump’s party if the latter decides to start his own political group.
These are just a few of the many indications that Republican voters are still loyal to Donald Trump.
