Bay Shore home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Bay Shore rose by $14,500 while total sales increased by 37.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 80 homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,000 - a 5.1% increase over the $285,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 58 homes sold in Bay Shore in the third quarter of 2016.
