He stated, "I applaud the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for their work returning $1.8 billion in illegal junk fees to 4.3 million Americans harmed by credit repair companies." He emphasized the agency's dedication to ensuring fair treatment for Americans by financial institutions.
The following day, December 10, 2024, he addressed the challenges faced by small businesses in New York City post-pandemic. Nadler wrote, "NYC’s small businesses are still hurting from the pandemic."
