NYGOP Chair Ed Cox issued a statement celebrating what he described as "historic Republican victories" following recent elections. According to Cox, the results signify a significant triumph for the Republican Party under President Donald Trump's leadership.

Cox stated, "New York and the nation have spoken. Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, we have delivered a resounding victory for the future of our great country." He highlighted that New Yorkers reelected at least seven House members from their party, including House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik.

He also noted that Republicans have managed to break what he termed as Democrats' "disastrous super majority in the State Senate," allowing Republicans to act as a check on progressive policies in Albany.

"This victory is not just a triumph for our party; it is a victory for hardworking families, for small businesses, for public safety, and for the rights of every American to live in a country that prioritizes opportunity and freedom over the failed policies of the radical left," Cox added.

He further emphasized that voters across regions such as Long Island, North Country, and Western New York sent a clear message against issues like high taxes, crime rates, and excessive spending. "The people demanded change, and last night, Republicans delivered," he asserted.

Cox concluded by expressing gratitude towards candidates, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to what he called laying "the foundation for a new golden age across the United States."
