Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Dells Ducks) was spectacular in goal, making 52 saves as the Buffalo State men's hockey team earned a 4-1 victory over nationally-sixth ranked Plattsburgh on Saturday evening at the Ice Arena.

- Norrman set a new season-high for saves in earning his 13th victory of the season.
- Michael McCosh (Glendale, AZ/New Mexico Ice Wolves) scored a goal and added an assist to lead Buffalo State.
- Joe Glamos (Baldwinsville, NY/New Jersey Titans), Nick Stuckless (Orangeville, ON/Skidmore College), and Andrew Logar (Niagara Falls, NY/Corpus Christi Ice Rays) each scored a goal.
- Norrman stood on his head in the opening period, keeping the game scoreless despite Plattsburgh holding a 16-3 advantage in shots on goal.
- Stuckless got the Bengals on the board first, ripping a wrist shot from just above the goal line into the top right corner of the net with under a minute remaining in the second period.
- Norrman stopped another 17 shots in the second period to keep the 1-0 Buffalo State advantage into the second intermission.
- Plattsburgh was able to capitalize on a Buffalo State penalty late in the third period, tying the score on the rebound after an initial shot hit the post.
- After a Plattsburgh penalty, Glamos ripped a one-timer off an assist from McCosh to give the Bengals the lead again with 2:44 remaining.
- Plattsburgh pulled its goalie a pair of times in the final minute, and McCosh and Logar capitalized with a pair of empty-net goals to seal the victory.
- Mitchell Hale scored the lone Plattsburgh goal.
- With the victory, Buffalo State secured a SUNYAC playoff berth for this season.
- Buffalo State is back in SUNYAC action next weekend, heading to Geneseo to face the Knights on Friday at 7 pm.
