Queens home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Queens rose by $39,444 while total sales increased by 1.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 5,468 homes sold, with a median sale price of $609,444 - a 6.9% increase over the $570,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 5,393 homes sold in Queens in the second half of 2016.
