In the initial quarter of 2026, the FDA conducted 161 inspections at 160 food and cosmetics companies within New York’s coverage area, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This represented the highest inspection count for any single industry by the FDA in New York, accounting for 83% of all inspections during the first quarter of 2026.

Among New York’s food and cosmetics companies, Auri Nutra, Inc. received the greatest number of citations from the FDA in the first quarter of 2026.
