New York State law mandates that all employers implement a sexual harassment prevention policy and conduct annual training for employees. This requirement includes distributing a copy of the prevention policy and training materials to new employees and on an annual basis thereafter.
The New York Department of Labor, in collaboration with the New York State Division of Human Rights, has created a model policy and training program to assist employers in complying with these regulations.
