City of Watertown issued the following announcement on June 16
The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works crew will be repairing a sewer lateral at 120 Thompson Blvd. starting Thursday, June 18th @ 8:00 a.m. and will be completed by the end of the day. The Eastbound lane of Thompson Blvd. will be closed from Washington St. to School St.
Public Works crews will follow standard protocol to establish traffic control by installing temporary barricades, signage, and having on-site flagmen throughout the duration of the project.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during this project. If in this area, motorists should exercise extreme caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
The Department of Public Works would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation while this work is completed.
