Newark home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Newark rose by $4,364 while total sales decreased by 9.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 73 homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,900 - a 5.5% increase over the $79,536 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in Newark in the second half of 2016.
