Newstead home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Newstead rose by $101,550 while total sales decreased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $279,000 - a 57.2% increase over the $177,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Newstead in the first quarter of 2016.
