Akron home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Akron rose by $10,775 while total sales remained unchanged with eight homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $128,275 - a 9.2% increase over the $117,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Akron in the first quarter of 2016, as well.
