Rep. Jerry Nadler, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 12th district since 1992, recently shared a series of tweets addressing a range of issues. Known for his vocal stances on various socio-political matters, Nadler continued this tradition with his recent social media activity on April 7, 2025.

In one of his tweets, Rep. Nadler criticized former President Donald Trump, arguing that the administration’s actions on antisemitism were disingenuous. Nadler stated, “I’ve been clear all along: if Trump were serious about combatting antisemitism, he’d start with his own administration. His attacks on universities under the guise of countering antisemitism is nothing more than a would-be dictator waging a war on education and free speech.” This comment highlights his stance on the perceived contradiction between the administration’s public rhetoric and its policies.

Later that day, Nadler addressed the financial distress faced by many Americans due to market instability. He expressed disdain for what he characterized as indifference by wealthy elites, including Trump and Elon Musk, proclaiming, “As millions of Americans wake up to see their retirement accounts in free fall, it’s just another ‘bad day on Wall Street’ for Trump, Musk, and the billionaire class. They don’t care about you. They’re doubling down on their moronic tariffs that are sending markets in a”. This tweet reflects his critical view of economic policies affecting the stock market and retirement accounts.

On the same day, Nadler posted a third tweet, although only a link was shared, suggesting further context or content provided in a separate medium. https://t.co/HEZMtJ5Jtr

Nadler, who has been a fixture in U.S. politics for decades, having succeeded Ted Weiss in Congress, remains an active participant in legislative and public discourse. His educational background includes a BA from Columbia University and a JD from Fordham University. He resides in Manhattan and continues to represent New York with a commitment to addressing pressing social issues.
