State Street Corporation announced on May 8 the closing of a $1.5 billion registered fixed-to-floating rate senior notes offering. The transaction was completed on April 24, 2026.

The offering is part of State Street Corporation’s ongoing activities as a provider of financial products and services to institutional investors worldwide. The company said the notes are designed to support its capital needs and business operations.

Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP represented the underwriters in this transaction. The Cravath team included partner Craig F. Arcella and associates Kenshin Cho and Christine E. Scott, who worked on capital markets matters, as well as partner Arvind Ravichandran and associate Frederick Schemel, who focused on tax matters. This latest offering reflects continued activity in corporate finance markets by major financial institutions seeking to raise capital through debt securities offerings.

Looking ahead, State Street Corporation may continue to access capital markets for funding as part of its broader strategy.
