Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson said on May 21 that deputies arrested Kevin M. Patrick, age 42, for four counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. The arrest took place on May 18 at approximately 4:52 p.m.

The case is important because it involves allegations of illegal firearm possession by a convicted felon, which can have serious legal consequences and raises concerns about public safety.

According to the sheriff’s office, the arrest followed information obtained during a separate investigation. Authorities allege that Patrick possessed firearms at his residence while being a convicted felon.

Patrick was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Fayette Town Court.

No further details were provided regarding the ongoing investigation or any potential additional charges.
