Representative Jerry Nadler, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 12th district, has recently expressed his views on various issues through social media posts. Nadler, who succeeded Ted Weiss in 1992 and has been active in politics since serving in the New York State Assembly from 1977 to 1992, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on current events.

On March 14, 2025, Nadler criticized Elon Musk and the Trump administration for allegedly attempting to exonerate historical figures deemed as evil. He stated: “This post is as shocking as it is upsetting and uncalled for. Is Elon Musk and the Trump administration really trying to exonerate the most evil people in history? And does he think it is funny? It is not funny, it is sick and now Musk has shared it with 215 million people on his…”

Two days later, on March 16, 2025, Nadler mourned the loss of former Congresswoman Nita Lowey. He expressed his sorrow by saying: “I’m heartbroken to learn of the passing of my dear friend and former colleague, former Congresswoman Nita Lowey. As the first woman to chair the House Appropriations Committee and the former Dean of New York’s Congressional Delegation, Nita was a champion for working families…”

On March 17, 2025, Nadler addressed what he perceives as defiance by the Trump Administration against federal court orders. He remarked: “As the Trump Administration brazenly defies federal court orders, America now faces its most perilous moment since the Civil War.”
