Jerry Nadler, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 12th district, has taken to social media to express his views on recent economic and political developments. His tweets cover topics such as economic challenges attributed to Trump’s policies, judicial rulings affecting federal workers, and healthcare rights.

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Nadler addressed the issue of rising costs and market instability in a tweet. He attributed these issues to former President Trump’s tariffs and criticized Elon Musk’s comments on entitlements. “Eggs are still expensive. Markets are tanking. Retirement savings are shrinking. Trump’s tariffs are wrecking the economy, and now Elon says entitlements (YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY) is ‘the big one to eliminate.’ As Trump caters to unelected billionaires, I’ll always fight to…”

Later that day, Nadler commented on a significant court ruling reinstating federal workers affected by previous administration policies. He described this development as one of the most substantial judicial rejections of Trump’s actions: “We are not powerless against Trump’s tyranny.” Today’s ruling to reinstate tens of thousands of federal workers nationwide is one of the ‘most far-reaching rejections’ by the Courts against Trump yet.”

In another post on March 13th, Rep. Nadler highlighted his involvement with the Reproductive Caucus in supporting Medicaid patients’ rights through an amicus brief filed with the Supreme Court: “Proud to stand with @ReproCaucus in filing an amicus brief to SCOTUS”, defending the rights of millions of Medicaid patients to access quality care at @PPFA.”
