In a post dated April 11, 2025, Rep. Nadler commented on a recent decision by the Trump Administration, stating that it had “eliminated $325M in funding for NY disaster mitigation projects meant to save lives before the next natural disaster hits.” Nadler announced that he joined with colleagues, Reps. Tim Kennedy and Grace Meng, in pressing for the funds’ reinstatement along with $1.6 billion in previously frozen funds.
