Rep. Jerry Nadler, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman for New York’s 12th district, took to social media on March 11, 2025, to share his recent legislative actions and positions regarding the Republican party’s Continuing Resolution. Nadler has been an active member of Congress since 1992, succeeding Ted Weiss.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Nadler tweeted about his efforts to counteract the Republicans’ Continuing Resolution by sponsoring or cosponsoring three amendments. He stated: “Yesterday, I took action to challenge the Republicans’ harmful Continuing Resolution by sponsoring or cosponsoring three critical amendments: – I submitted language—pulled from the Republicans’ own bill last year—to secure vital advanced funding for the Toxic Exposures Fund to…”

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Rep. Nadler expressed his opposition to certain financial decisions involving high-profile figures and programs affecting vulnerable communities. He declared: “No, I’m not going to give Musk and Trump a blank check while they cut critical programs, abandoning veterans, survivors of domestic violence, seniors, families with disabilities, and other vulnerable communities:”
