Nadler has served in Congress since 1992, succeeding Ted Weiss. He previously held a seat in the New York State Assembly from 1977 to 1992. Nadler, born in New York City in 1947, is a longtime Manhattan resident and an alumnus of Columbia University and Fordham University.
