Rep. Jerry Nadler, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 12th district since 1992, has recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding key legislative and international issues. Nadler, who has been active in politics since his time in the New York State Assembly from 1977 to 1992, continues to advocate for various causes.

On March 25, 2025, Rep. Nadler highlighted his involvement with equal pay initiatives. He expressed his support by stating “It’s simple: equal work deserves equal pay.” Nadler joined forces with Representative Rosa DeLauro and the Democratic Women’s Caucus to reintroduce the Paycheck Fairness Act, aiming to address wage disparities affecting women.

In another tweet on the same day, Rep. Nadler criticized former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk for their decision concerning PEPFAR. He asserted that “Trump and Musk abandoning the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) isn’t just morally wrong; it’s a national security risk.” Nadler emphasized that weakening global health efforts could increase China’s and Russia’s influence while highlighting the ongoing battle against HIV/AIDS.
