Rep. Jerry Nadler, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 12th district since 1992, shared updates on his recent activities and policy positions through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) in late July 2025.
On July 25, Nadler highlighted his visit to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Quill Bus Depot in Manhattan. In his post, he stated: “It was great to visit the @MTA’s Quill Bus Depot in Manhattan and meet with the workers of @TWULocal100 & @TTDAFLCIO today. We walked through the electric bus charging and maintenance bays and discussed customer and driver safety.

The following day, July 26, Nadler commemorated the anniversary of significant disability rights legislation. He wrote: “Today we celebrate the ADA’s 35th anniversary, landmark legislation that works to make everyday life more accessible for Americans living with disabilities.
We have made incredible progress in these last 35 years, including significant amendments I was proud to work on in 2008″.
Later that same day, Nadler addressed transportation policy by referencing congestion pricing efforts. He posted: “More evidence for @SecDuffy and the Trump Administration that congestion pricing is working:
Nadler has been an active member of Congress since replacing Ted Weiss in 1992. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the New York State Assembly from 1977 to 1992. Born in New York City in 1947 and currently residing in Manhattan, Nadler graduated from Columbia University with a BA in 1969 and earned a JD from Fordham University in 1978.
