Rep. Jerry Nadler, who represents New York’s 12th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on August 13, 2025, regarding his recent activities and advocacy efforts.

On August 13, Nadler shared that he visited a local organization providing services to veterans: “I also got to stop by @VANYHarbor who was outside providing essential resources and services.” This post highlights his engagement with community support initiatives.

In another tweet from August 13, Nadler discussed an environmental issue concerning the Williams NESE Pipeline project. He wrote: “Today, I led @RepJeffries, @RepAOC, and @NydiaVelazquez in a letter to @GovKathyHochul and @NYSDEC requesting that they extend the public comment and hearing period for the Williams NESE Pipeline. It is imperative we allow the impacted communities sufficient time to voice their”

Jerry Nadler has served as a member of Congress since 1992 after replacing Ted Weiss. Before his tenure in Congress, he was part of the New York State Assembly from 1977 until his congressional election. Born in New York City in 1947 and currently residing in Manhattan at age 75, Nadler holds degrees from Columbia University (BA) and Fordham University (JD).
