Representative Jerry Nadler, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 12th district, has been vocal on social media about recent political developments. Known for his legal background and tenure in both the New York State Assembly and U.S. Congress, Nadler has addressed issues concerning executive orders and judicial independence.

On March 17, 2025, Nadler expressed concern over an executive order signed by former President Donald Trump. He stated: “Late Friday night, Trump signed an EO attacking the CDFI Fund, which empowers entrepreneurs overlooked by big banks to build businesses & strengthen local economies—the essence of the American Dream.” He criticized this move as detrimental to Americans’ ability to achieve economic success.

The following day, on March 18, 2025, Nadler highlighted a statement from Chief Justice John Roberts regarding impeachment proceedings against judges. He tweeted: “Even conservative SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts agrees: impeachment is NOT the response to judges who rule against Trump.” Nadler emphasized the importance of maintaining an independent judiciary and upholding the rule of law.
