Rep. Jerry Nadler, a U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 12th district, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing issues related to the Trump Administration, antisemitism, and legal proceedings involving former presidential associates.

On October 9, 2025, Nadler voiced his support for calls demanding transparency from the Trump Administration, stating, “I strongly support this letter and join my colleagues in demanding transparency from the Trump Administration. The Trump Administration’s unauthorized lethal strikes in the Caribbean Sea are unconstitutional and illegal. The President and his cronies cannot go around killing” (posted at 14:43 UTC).

Later the same day, Nadler addressed a separate issue, urging his colleagues to take a clear stance against antisemitism. He wrote, “This is an antisemitic remark. I call on all my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to clearly denounce it.” (posted at 17:55 UTC).

In another post, Nadler commented on legal actions involving former Trump associates, saying, “Trump’s handpicked, former personal attorney led the indictment against @NewYorkStateAG after others refused to prosecute. The President is on a destructive path of retribution. This blatant abuse of power violates fundamental principles of law in a democratic society and” (posted at 21:12 UTC).

Nadler has been a member of Congress since 1992, succeeding Ted Weiss, and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 1977 to 1992. He was born in New York City in 1947 and resides in Manhattan. Nadler holds a BA from Columbia University and a JD from Fordham University.
