U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that Dylan C. Irvin, a 26-year-old resident of Bradford, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release for the receipt of child pornography. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, who prosecuted the case, detailed that in June or July 2023, Irvin engaged in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl and recorded the incident using his cellphone. The video was then received on a Snapchat account controlled by Irvin. Following his arrest on March 5, 2024, for state charges related to this conduct, authorities seized Irvin’s cellphone and found the incriminating video.

The investigation leading to Irvin’s sentencing was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Acting Special Agent-in-Charge Mark Grimm, the New York State Police led by Major Amie Feroleto, and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office directed by Sheriff Eric Butler.
