The United Volleyball Conference announced its 2026 All-Academic selections on June 3, with 11 members of the New York University men’s volleyball team earning recognition for their achievements in both academics and athletics.

The NYU Violets were also named a UVC All-Academic Team after achieving a 3.63 team grade point average during the spring semester, which was the highest among all institutions in the conference. The team GPA surpassed Massachusetts Institute of Technology at 3.60, followed by Vassar College at 3.55, St. John Fisher College at 3.51, State University of New York at New Paltz at 3.42, and Hobart College at 3.31.

Student-athletes representing NYU on the UVC All-Academic Team included Gabriel Bialek, Ethan Du, Angus Ebeling, Emerson Evans, Dylan Hsu, Jeremy Li, Devyn Nguyen, Bennet Tchaikovsky, Jake Upham, Krish Vasan, and Matthew Warter.

To be selected to the UVC All-Academic List, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 through full-time enrollment as sophomores or above and display positive conduct both on and off campus.

The recognition reflects NYU’s commitment to academic excellence among its student-athletes.
