Sean Ryan, who previously represented Senate District 61, was elected Mayor of Buffalo. Sharon Owens will take office as Mayor of Syracuse, while Dorcey Applyrs was chosen as Mayor of Albany. Malik Evans secured re-election as Mayor of Rochester.
