Rep. Jerry Nadler, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 12th district, recently addressed several issues through his social media platform. Nadler has been a congressional representative since 1992 and previously served in the New York State Assembly.

On May 13, 2025, Rep. Nadler expressed concerns about actions by House Republicans. He stated, “House Republicans are plotting to rip health care away from 13.7 million Americans under the cover of night.” He further accused them of voting secretly to harm American families for the benefit of billionaires.

In another tweet posted on the same day, Rep. Nadler shared a link without additional commentary: “https://t.co/rXwKbyMkrV” The context or content related to this link was not provided in his tweet.

Later that day, he highlighted efforts with fellow Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman concerning issues at the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP). He tweeted, “Today, @RepDanGoldman and I led New York Democrats in demanding answers from @SecKennedy about the ongoing instability at the World Trade Center Health Program.” According to Nadler, there have been multiple attempts by the Trump Administration to dismiss essential WTCHP staff members since January.

Additional information reveals that Jerry Nadler has had a long career in public service since his election to Congress in 1992 after serving in state assembly positions from 1977-1992.
