In a series of recent posts, Representative Jerry Nadler, who has served New York’s 12th district in Congress since 1992, shared various updates and criticisms on his social media platform. The tweets touch on both local and national matters.

On April 18, 2025, Nadler addressed young artists from his district. He reminded “#NY12 High School Artists: Submissions for the Congressional Art Competition are due in one week! Visit my website to learn how you can share your talent with Congress.” This initiative encourages students to submit their artwork for a chance to be recognized at a federal level.

The following day, Nadler expressed his disapproval of the current administration in Washington. His critique was pointed, describing it as highly ineffective and a threat, stating “This is the most incompetent and dangerous White House in American history.”

Jerry Nadler was born in New York City in 1947 and has a distinguished academic background as a Columbia University graduate. He completed his Juris Doctor at Fordham University in 1978 and has been a fixture in New York politics since his tenure in the New York State Assembly from 1977 until transitioning to the U.S. Congress in 1992.
