On May 9, 2025, Nadler tweeted about judicial intervention against the Trump Administration. He stated, “Once again, the courts have stepped in to check the unconstitutional overreach of the Trump Administration. U.S. District Judge Sessions found that ‘there is no evidence here … absent consideration of the op-ed.’ The Administration’s actions are clearly aimed at chilling the”. This comment highlights his concern over perceived attempts by the administration to suppress dissenting voices.

In another tweet on May 11, 2025, Nadler criticized an alleged acceptance of gifts from foreign governments by high-ranking officials. He wrote, “Accepting a free plane from Qatar isn’t just outrageous, it’s corruption, plain and simple. The Emoluments Clause of the Constitution leaves no room for doubt: no President may accept so much as a single benefit, payment, or favor from a foreign government without first”. Jerry Nadler’s long tenure in public service includes roles both in Congress and previously in the New York State Assembly. Born in New York City in 1947 and currently residing in Manhattan, Nadler holds degrees from Columbia University and Fordham University.
