Also at 9:11 PM, Nadler commented on a legislative issue: “House Republicans just voted down my amendment in the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee to provide additional funding for proven transit safety upgrades”. Nadler expressed concern over the motives behind Republican threats to withhold federal funds from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

Jerry Nadler, born in 1947 in New York City, has been a longstanding representative of New York, initially in the State Assembly and subsequently in Congress. He holds a BA from Columbia University and a JD from Fordham University and resides in Manhattan.
