Rep. Jerry Nadler, representing New York’s 12th district in Congress, has been vocal on recent issues through a series of tweets. Nadler, who has served since 1992, previously worked in the New York State Assembly and holds degrees from Columbia and Fordham University.

On April 17, 2025, he commented on a court decision against a major technology company. He noted, “Today’s ruling marks the second time in two years that Google has been found guilty of monopolization. I urge and support the court to impose strong and effective remedies to ensure the protection of consumers and competition.”

In another tweet on the same day, Nadler addressed issues concerning the Trump administration and local transportation policy. He stated, “It is no secret that the Trump administration has been waging a political campaign against the MTA for months, simply because they oppose congestion pricing and do not like being told no. Now they are trying to punish New Yorkers by removing the MTA from any role in shaping the” policy landscape.

Nadler is a native New Yorker, born in the city in 1947, and currently resides in Manhattan. His extensive political career has focused on serving the interests of his constituents and addressing significant local and national issues.
