A Jamestown woman, Micayla L. Blair, 23, has been arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The charge carries a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
According to U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo, the arrest followed the execution of a search warrant on October 30, 2025, at a William Street residence linked to Blair. Investigators recovered suspected crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a pistol during the search.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti is handling the case. Blair appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer and was detained following her initial court appearance.
The investigation involved cooperation between the Jamestown Police Department led by Chief Timothy Jackson; the Drug Enforcement Administration under Special Agent-in-Charge Frank A. Tarentino III of the New York Field Division; and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office directed by Sheriff James Quattrone.
“The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty,” stated officials.
