The Hastings Youth Council announced on May 13 that it will host a blood drive on Wednesday, May 27 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the James V. Harmon Community Center.
The event aims to encourage community members to donate blood and support local healthcare needs. The council said the drive will take place at 44 Main Street in Hastings-on-Hudson.
Those interested in participating can schedule an appointment by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by visiting the online scheduling page at https://donate.nybc.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/338355.
More information about the event and other activities organized by the council can be found on their website at http://hohny.gov.
The council encourages residents to consider donating, as blood drives play a crucial role in maintaining adequate supplies for medical emergencies.
