Fubon Financial Holding Company announced on May 14 that its unaudited consolidated pre-tax profit for April was NT$43.13 billion, with a net profit of NT$38.82 billion. The cumulative pre-tax profit reached NT$81.75 billion and cumulative net profit was NT$72.08 billion, resulting in earnings per share of NT$5.15.
The company said both monthly and cumulative net profits set historical highs for the same period, reflecting strong performance across all subsidiaries. After including stock disposal gains and losses under Fair Value through Other Comprehensive Income (FVOCI), adjusted monthly and cumulative net income would be NT$55.40 billion and NT$121.46 billion respectively, with adjusted EPS at NT$8.67—exceeding the full-year profit of 2025.
All major subsidiaries reported record profits for April and year-to-date periods: Taipei Fubon Bank’s net profit rose to NT$4.22 billion in April, up 45% year-over-year; Fubon Insurance achieved a net profit of NT$1.15 billion; Fubon Securities posted a net profit of NT$2.45 billion; and Fubon Asset Management earned a net profit of NT$0.17 billion in April.
Fubon Life’s monthly and cumulative adjusted net income reached new highs as well, benefiting from capital market gains driven by high levels in Taiwan’s TAIEX index and surging U.S markets, as well as realized capital gains from equities and funds holdings.
The company also reported significant growth in key business areas: Taipei Fubon Bank saw deposit balances increase by 15% year-over-year while loan balances grew by 16%. Wealth management product sales volume increased alongside credit card spending overseas, contributing to fee income growth of 31% year-over-year for the bank segment.
