FOIA Request to Suny College of Technology at Alfred regarding employee compensation data for Fiscal Year 2025 on November 4, 2025.

Empire State Today has submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Suny College of Technology at Alfred. The request seeks detailed records of employee compensation for all individuals employed by the University during Fiscal Year 2025. The requested information includes various data fields such as employee name, gender, age or year of birth, date of birth, employer name, title or position, hire date, compensation amount and type, and employment type.

The request emphasizes the importance of accessing these public records to fulfill the professional responsibilities of media personnel in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Empire State Today has also requested a fee waiver for this information based on their role as a media organization.
