FOIA Request to CUNY Hunter College regarding State University Employee Compensation Data, FY 2025 on November 4, 2025.

Empire State Today has submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to CUNY Hunter College seeking detailed records of employee compensation for the fiscal year 2025. The request was made under the New York Freedom of Information Law, N.Y. Pub. Off. Law sec. 84 et seq., and aims to obtain the information in an electronic format.

The requested records include comprehensive data fields such as employee names, gender (if recorded), age or year of birth (where not exempt), date of birth (if not exempt or limited to month/year), employer name, job title or position, hire date, compensation amount including base pay and any additional pay, compensation type (such as salary, hourly wage, stipend, or bonus), and employment type (full-time or part-time).
